Jaisal is a sponge these days. We are always amazed by what he understands, remembers, and processes. A lot of the time we don't know where he learned what he's repeating. For example, the other day Jaisal came with my mom to pick me up at the train station.
He'd been there a few times and we were teaching him not to walk to close to the tracks and not to cross when the signals are flashing. Despite those warnings, on this particular day, he insisted on walking on the "forbidden" yellow part of the sidewalk.
His reason?
"Mummy you need to walk next to me so that I can protect you from the train."
Heart melted. No idea where he got the concept of walking outside of somebody to protect them, but that he'd want to do that for me. Well let's just say that I scooped him up and squeezed him tight (after taking this quick picture).
Jaisal is part normal hyperactive 4-year old boy and part super sweetheart. He loves giving hugs and kisses. He tells us he loves us all the time. He's totally sensitive to emotions, especially if someone is hurt. We're so spoiled by our amazing little guy.
