One of the challenges of having Riya is that I don't get to spend as much time with my little man. Kirk and I have doted on Jaisal non-stop for the past 4.5 years and while Jaisal seems to be fine sharing our love, I know that I've missed my one on one time with him.
Thankfully my parents were happy to spend some quality time with Riya so Jaisal and I squeezed in some time at a spray park,
getting some ice cream (chocolate of course),
and going to see Inside Out (okay that may have been more my idea than his, but he still had fun). More bonding time is needed in the future, but this helped my Jaisal withdrawal symptoms.
