Next stop Old Faithful. We lucked out with a second geyser (Beehive) erupting just after Old Faithful finished its show.
Jaisal struggled with not being able to throw rocks into the geysers, springs, and mud pools. Between this restriction and the steam, we carried him a bit more on these walks. Oddly enough though he didn't mind the sulphur smell, even saying it was good when asked.
Jaisal was in heaven during this pitstop.
We were in the northern part of the Hayden Valley hoping to possibly catch a glimpse of a wolf pack or grizzly bear at dusk and decided to hike down to the river for a sundowner.
Jaisal had access to a never-ending supply of large rocks and the ability to make a major splash in the water. He could have cared less about the beaver sitting directly across the river.
Early morning walk along Yellowstone Lake.
Of course, no trip to Yellowstone is complete without bison.
