Beer Hunt

We couldn't let the kiddos have all the fun, so after all the eggs were found and opened, the adults had an Easter beer hunt. The rules of our beer hunt are simple. Each team of two has to fill their basket (a 6-pack container) with beers they find. After you find your first beer, the team can't look for another beer until they finish the beer they found. First team to find 6 beers wins.

Here we all are getting a rundown of the rules.

Kirk's mom and Chris did an excellent job hiding the beers. This one was down the bank and in the pond.

Since the beers were so well hidden, it was a pretty big accomplishment just to find one, much less to drink it and start looking for the next one.

We found a way to keep everyone entertained during the beer hunt. Valentina hung out with mom and dad.

The kids played in the bounce house.

Even the puppies were festive (there were 6 dogs in all staying at the farm over the weekend).

Sadly, Kirk and I did not win the beer hunt. Kelly and Jason found and drank all 6 of their beers before we even finished 4. We'll take our second place finish and try to win next year!
