Ever since Jaisal was born, we've been trekking to a far flung suburb to cut down a Christmas tree. This year we ventured south and after some extra hiking in the mud due to Kirk's tree map reading skills, we found our perfect white pine.
Jaisal ready to cut down the tree.
Like father, like son.
Success!
Trying to take pictures of the reindeer with his camera. He's actually taking some pretty good pictures these days.
Claiming he wanted to help carry the tree to the car and then quickly realizing it was too heavy for him.
Jaisal was insanely excited to decorate the tree. He took a lot of care in unpacking the ornaments, putting hooks on them, and finding the perfect spot on the tree.
Pointing out his favorite ornament - a Chicago Bears snowman ornament.
