Little Miss Riya is 4 months old! She's now 11 lbs 10.1 oz and 22 inches long. She's on the term baby growth charts!! She's about 8 weeks adjust age now and doing everything a nearly 2 month old baby would do. She's smiling all the time, but particularly in the mornings.

She's turning into a pretty good sleeper. Our early days of having to carry her at all times or nurse her at 15 minute intervals are long gone now. She sleeps in an Indian style hammock in our room and goes to be around 8:30 each night, wakes between 2:30-3:30 to eat and then goes right back to bed until she wants to eat again around 6:30. Sometimes she stays awake at that time or goes back to bed until 7:30.
Sometimes she also gets to snooze in bed with us too.
Riya is also starting to get pretty decent head control. We need to do a bit more work on her tummy time because right now the little one only likes to look out to her right.
She's also starting to go out and see the world. Here she is hanging with her pal Annabelle while her parents and their friends eat some yummy food.
She's also learning the fine art of holiday celebrating. Here's her patriotic 4th of July outfit.

Riya is starting to develop a schedule. She goes down for a morning nap around 9 for an hour or so, sleeps again around lunchtime for a couple hours, and then a third time around 3. The morning nap is sacred, but the rest can be taken on the go for now.
