In case you don't know it, Jaisal is our slow guy. He walks slowly, elongates his stories and takes ages to eat. In order for us to make it to school on time, Jaisal needs to be eating by 7:15, which gives him roughly 45 minutes. Lately though we've all been sleeping in and earlier this week Jaisal was only left with 15 minutes to eat and needed to take a shower (another slow process). The only way to get it all done? Combine activities.
So, in the grand tradition of the shower beer, we told Jaisal he could have shower bacon. If he hurried to the bathroom, we'd help him get undressed and showered and he could eat his bacon throughout the whole process. He loved the idea, somehow managed to keep the bacon dry and we weren't too late to school.
It amazes me the things we have do to make it through the day. But then there's this face, and I forget all about the chaos caused.
