Jaisal had a fabulous weekend (as did we). He loved running around a non-babyproofed house. He kept going up and down stairs and opening every cabinet possible. To keep him occupied, we let him help cook breakfast.
Jaisal cooking slowed down the process a bit, so Jaisal had to wait for breakfast. He was not happy, but we're thrilled that he is starting to take eating more seriously and wants to do it.
We took him out in the woods to look for ramps and morels. (We found plenty of the former, but none of the latter.) He touched his first earthworm and was not amused. Of course, he was perfectly content any time Strider was around. The kid loves his dogs.
He enjoyed "driving" the quad.
We also took him up to the barn to see the animals. He loved the cows. It's one of his favorite signs and sounds. He also would do the sign and sound for cow when he looked at the horse. Guess we have some teaching to do.
What kid wouldn't love looking at a bunch of chickens?
I think Jaisal is finally over his aversion to grass. He picked some dandelions and thought they were pretty flowers.
