Belatedly Thankful

We're thankful for so many things this year, but we are most thankful for our friend who went through all of the living donor liver tests, and after knowing about everything involved with the surgery, decided to be Jaisal's donor.  That's right, we have a match! We are beyond thrilled, but are keeping our excitement under wraps a bit until we're fully on the way to Jaisal having a new liver. The whole false hope, unnecessary surgery thing with Kirk has made us slightly gun shy.

There's still a chance that Jaisal can get a cadaver liver before our friend has to undergo surgery. We are of course hoping for that to happen.
