Busy Weekend

We had a fun and busy weekend. On Saturday we celebrated a family friend's wedding. We got Jaisal all dressed and took him to the wedding ceremony itself. In typical Jaisal fashion, he was shy and clung to me, Kirk, or his nani and nana. Of course all of us were happy to hold him, so it worked out well. Here's a pic of us heading into the wedding. It was a beautiful, sunny (maybe too sunny) day.

The next day we wandered to some of the children's stores on Division and went on a small shopping binge for Jaisal. We got him his first puzzle. He was an expert at taking the pieces out of the backing. I can't say he really got the concept of putting them back together.

Of course there was some quality time watching the Bears game before nap time. Thankfully he fell asleep before the Bears fell apart. He's too young to witness a quarterback getting sacked repeatedly.

Finally we ended the weekend with Jaisal meeting his future friend aka Nugget. Carlos's family hosted a really nice baby shower for Lindsey and we got to see her cute pregnant belly. Jaisal was skeptical, but someday he'll like his future playmate.
