The Many Looks of Jaisal

Jaisal's hair is a constant source of entertainment for us. He was born with a full head of hair,

 

and then quite a bit of it fell out. We fondly call this time his 40-year old man period, since he had a tuft of hair in front that we could comb over the balding spots.

After the hair fell out, it seemed to grow back in at rapid speed. Once people started saying Jaisal was either Justin Bieber or a pretty little girl, we decided it was time to cut his hair.

Even these days, he's still got a pretty crazy mop. His once black hair is now brown and seems to get lighter by the day. He's also starting to get some signature Shah curls in the back. His mamas (uncles) who've dealt with curly hair their whole lives are hoping that he manages to avoid the full-on curls, but if he doesn't, they'll teach him about all the hair products he'll need to keep his mane in check.
