Day 2: Jaisal's surgeon is urging you to become a registered organ and tissue donor. Of all the craziness associated with our transplant journey, I kind of love Dr. Superina. He's hard to pin down, but when you do he's got the greatest manner. He explains things, he's patient, and he's a seriously kick ass surgeon.
Kick ass enough that one day when Kirk was biking downtown and he saw Dr. Superina on his bike (the man regularly bikes to work at the hospital from his north shore home), Kirk turned around, chased after Dr. S. and had to thank him again for everything he did for Jaisal.
Please give Dr. Superina the opportunity to save more lives!
