You've all read the anguish of waiting for an organ. Watching Jaisal getting worse. Anticipating each of the potential horrible complications that could arise and always keeping the thought that an organ would not come in time at bay.
Well this is a beautifully written post from a mom who made the decision to donate her son's organs. It's actually a bit difficult for me to read because it touches on some of the fears I have about the ongoing what ifs related to Jaisal's health, but reaffirms (particularly in light of the horrible crazy things that have happened in Boston) how amazing and selfless people can be.
