Riya continues to be awesome. She's feeding well and over the last week and is tracking perfectly on her growth curve for head circumference, length, and weight. She's 16 inches long now and weighs 3 lbs 8 oz.
The big news is that she's breathing room air!! They pulled her nasal cannula yesterday. She's had no episodes which is a great sign. The next few weeks hopefully will and should stay quiet, while she gains weight and maybe learns to regulate her temperature.
Then around 33 or 34 weeks gestational age (so 2 or 3 weeks from now), we'll try to wean Riya from caffeine and try oral feedings. It's all very exciting stuff!
