Sir Oliver has been a rock star. Jaisal has been sick a bit more frequently this year than when school started. Illness always seems to strike at night on the weekends, so we've had a couple ED visits. Poor little man hates getting IVs, so I hate ED visits.
We've learned a few things. Jaisal no longer responds to Tylenol for fever control or pain. This sucks because he can't take Motrin since it metabolizes through the kidneys, which is where his Prograf processes through as well.
Strep finds Jaisal, as do ear infections.
Sir Oliver has stayed steady through all of this. Yay! This has allowed us to complete our wean of Cellcept. In about a month we'll see how Sir Oliver is doing without this medication. Hopefully we can be done with it permanently!
