Firsts

We've witnessed a lot of firsts for Jaisal these past few days. He's discovered opening up cabinets and taking things out. His favorite is the tupperware cabinet. He now realizes he can use the walls for support to "walk" around the house, which he thinks is way more fun than crawling down the hallways. Jaisal has been able to stand for a while (for example if we're holding him up and let go of him) and has even taken a few steps, but always with a lot of hesitancy. Last night, however, Jaisal decided to stand up on his own for the first time. We were very excited and clearly were trying to encourage him.



Feeding Jaisal is a constant challenge. He is really picky about textures, and he'll love something one day and then won't touch it the next. In the last few days he's taken an active interest in eating again and in feeding himself.
