Kirk had his donor evaluation this past Thursday. He, unlike me, had no problem with the MRI. He also had a much smoother day, with his appointments scheduled back to back allowing him to come home and hang out with Jaisal for a few hours in the middle of the day. I got to sit in a waiting room for at least an hour between each appointment. I am going to take all this to be a cosmic sign that Kirk is going to be a match for Jaisal.
We're hoping to hear something next week. If Kirk is a match, then hopefully Jaisal will be transplanted on October 17, the first available date for an OR at CMH and NMH.
