Kirk is recovering well. He stopped taking prescription pain medicine a couple days ago and has had a lot more energy over the last day or two. He also has his appetite back. He very happily ate some fish tacos that our friends Jeremy and Nicole brought over. I may have partaken in the meal as well. It looked (and tasted) too good to only let Kirk have some.
Ann had her donor evaluation on Monday. We're hoping to hear something from NMH about whether she is a match by the end of this week.
No word yet from UNOS about whether they are going to grant or deny the request for extra points for Jaisal. They technically still have another week to decide, but we really hope they won't take that long.
As of today, Jaisal has been waiting for a new liver for 56 days.
