We just left our little man in the hands of the doctors. The transplant is a go. I started to get nervous around 9 am, when I knew Scott was already in surgery and we hadn't yet been called down for Jaisal to get his PICC line placed, but phew lightening did not strike twice here.
After a night of fitful something that can't be called sleep, Jaisal relaxed until he was called down.
It was tough to send him away, but we're focusing on what this will mean in the long run.

Phew! So glad its a "Go!" Prayers now for the skillful hands of Dr. Superina and all who is helping him, for Scott's surgeons and for peace for you and Kirk as you wait. (((HUGS)))
seriously have butterflies in my stomach for you guys today -- can't imagine all the craziness you must be feeling, but so excited for what's just around the corner!! :)
