We decided to take advantage of the nice weather and our last day outside of the hospital for the near future by visiting the Christkindlmarket.
Doesn't Jaisal look like a perfect little city dweller?
The market was insanely crowded, so we took shelter by the Santa and Christkindl cutout while taking turns to bring back potato pancakes, bratwurst, crepes with nutella, and of course gluhwein to share.
Scott stopped by for a visit. Jaisal doesn't seem to quite appreciate what Scott is going to do for him tomorrow, as he quickly went to hide and burrow mode when Scott tried to talk to him.
We're all settled in for the night at the hospital now. Anxious but ready for tomorrow. Jaisal got in some quality play time on the 6th floor, including laps around the floor in the wagon. It was a nice change not to be on isolation precaution so that we could actually leave our room.
Jaisal's labs show his liver function is declining and his stats show that he hasn't really grown or gained weight in the last month or so. His liver just isn't working any more. It's time for this transplant. Please keep Jaisal and Scott in your thoughts tomorrow.
