Unfortunately we're really struggling to get Jaisal's pain under control. At one point he was so agitated he nearly rolled himself over. Not good after major abdominal surgery. We switched out his pain med, put him on a high flow nasal canula, and moved Jaisal into my lap, which is a major endeavor considering the number of lines he has. He seems a tiny bit more comfortable, but we still have a ways to go. Our PICU nurse is phenomenal. The night residents, not so much. Hopefully we'll get something sorted out soon.
